Allus Branding
'Allus' is a new local history centre located in Leeds City Centre. It stands out as the only public centre in Leeds dedicated exclusively to the city's history. The brand values are 'always inclusive, always engaging, and always thoughtful.' My task was to create a visually contemporary and memorable logo for the centre, along with a typographic poster and GIF featuring clever messaging. Both elements are designed to represent the centre, spark curiosity, and promote its offerings.

' The Place I want to go '
The aim was to create an unexpected image of a history centre, breaking away from the typical, dull portrayal of such places and making it a destination you'd want to visit.
The colours of the golden owl, the symbol of Leeds, were extracted for ‘Allus’
As a new local history centre in Leeds, the idea was to build on the city’s existing identity rather than create a completely new colour scheme

Animated GIF
This GIF grabs your attention with its intense colors and holds it with its fast, rhythmic movement.
The photos show iconic places in Leeds as if you were looking through a camera lens, and the classic, blurry filters give you a sense of the city's age.

The blur effect is achieved by placing photographs inside the lens to give the impression of looking through the lens of a camera, and the vintage feel makes you feel like you’re looking at a piece of Leeds history.

Typographic Poster

" We Bet You Don't Know More About Leeds
Than You Think. "
This promotional poster is eye-catching with its bright pink, contrasting against the browns and beiges that dominate the building colors in Leeds. The provocative wording challenges people to visit Allus, delivering a fresh shock and inviting curiosity.
